Covid-19 Health And Safety

As we continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we wanted to let you know how we are handling this developing situation at Harmon Ophthalmology, P.C. As always, our main priority is to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.

We are following the CDC’s guidelines to prevent the transmission of disease within community locations by limiting the amount of face-to-face contact that takes place. Our office is currently closed to do our part in limiting the spread of this disease. We will keep you informed as to when we reopen. Once the office does reopen appointments will be limited to those who are experiencing urgent issues, as a means to limit the number of individuals in the office at any given time. All appointments for routine matters and non-urgent issues will be rescheduled to a later date.

If you have an urgent matter during the time that our office is closed, please contact our office at (212)888-4100 and follow the prompts to reach our answering service. Dr. Harmon or one of his doctors will assist you in handling any urgent matters. For all other routine matters, please contact our office when we reopen at which time our staff will gladly be of assistance to you.

As this situation evolves, we will continue to refer to the CDC, the World Health Organization, and other public health agencies to determine the safest course of action for our patients and staff.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to serve you in a safe and responsible manner.
